Jordan Brand (client), Footlocker, Peet Kegler (design agency), Colab Architects (design intent architect)
As a tribute to Michael Jordan and his legacy, Jordan Brand wanted to create a flagship retail brand experience in a historical building in Chicago. They asked Bespoke partner with all parties involved to build a permanent store that could be easily transformed into an event space as well. Our role for this project in the Windy City was to make sure that the design intent from our client and the design agency was executed correctly.
Bespoke got involved in the design intent stage of the project. From then on we took charge of the project up to the completion, handling every aspect of production and project management for the retail location and additional training spaces. As the eyes and ears for the client, we made sure the design intent maintained throughout the process. Assisting in the design, and producing all the fixtures was part of this.We teamed with various partners from different industries, to keep everyone together and work towards a final result for Jordan Brand to be proud of.
We delivered a three-story flagship store, which include a large retail space on the first floor. Personal touches, such as a handmade painting of Michael Jordan himself, welcomed visitors into the store. The second floor was a brand space, which could easily be transformed into a premiere event space by using all modular fixtures. We installed digital training stations in Station 23, a showpiece basketball court, and state-of-the-art strength and conditioning equipment for athletes. The mezzanine was a full equipped customization area for consumers to personalize their newest apparel and footwear.
